Treat life like a learning process. There is so much that life teaches you, and you have to make sure that you learn all these lessons along the way. Even your failures enrich you, because they teach you what you should not do. Self Talk - Your Way to Success

There are many things that drive people to success, and a key factor is what is known as "internal dialogue". This is the dialogue that is constantly playing inside your head. It’s the voice that starts talking as soon as you do something, meet someone, or think about anything.

In many cases, this voice can be destructive and knock you down, though it is possible to quite easily harness his internal dialogue and use it to propel you to the success you desire and deserve.

You may notice that on occasion the voice is negative in what it says. For example, you see something you really want to buy and it says, "You can’t afford that." Or you see someone you are really attracted to and the voice says, "They’re way out of your league, they’ll never go for someone like you."

Quite obviously, this does nothing to make you life any better. Therefore, why not change the content of the voice? When it says something negative, counter it with a positive suggestion. For example, when the voice says, “You can’t afford that.” Respond mentally in a firm and positive voice with something like, “How can I afford it?” A question that empowers you and propels you into positive action.

This may take some time, and you may notice initially you do not always catch the voice and correct it. However, keep it up and before you know it, you will have changed the negative dialogue into a positive, empowering one.

You can also change the tone of the voice. What would happen if instead of the usual tone of voice saying, “I can’t afford it” you hear the voice of Homer Simpson, or Donald Duck, or any comic character saying it? You certainly wouldn’t listen to the voice and take it seriously, you would laugh at it and it’s power over you would be broken.

This technique can be extended to helping you motivate yourself to do something. When faced with the washing up, what do you hear in your head? Do you hear a whiney voice saying something like, “You really ought to do the washing up or you’ll get into trouble” or a commanding and scary voice saying, “Wash up NOW!”?

What would happen if the voice were a soft and really seductive voice speaking in your head? The sort of voice that gives you shivers down your back. What if it said something like, “Let’s do the washing up big boy.”? How would that motivate you?

Stephen King, the author, uses this technique with his writing. When he has to write he hears this very loud and powerful voice shouting at him as if through a megaphone saying something like, “WRITE NOW!!!!!” It almost scares him in to writing.

However, you don’t need to scare yourself into action. You can change your internal dialogue to be anything you want; whatever works best for you to motivate you and help you to get where you want to be.

Listen to your internal dialogue and play with changing the tonality, volume and tempo to find the type of voice that works best for you. Create a number of different types of voices, one for motivation, one to stop you doing things, one to make you feel loved, one to make you feel happy and so on.

Vital Tips in Finding Your Passion

Some people take a lifetime in realizing what they really want to do and where they want to take their journey. It will be best if you will know the essentials in finding your passion while you are still young. This way, you will have lots of time to fulfill whatever you want to achieve and enjoy its effects and benefits as well.


It is not that easy to know what you really want to do for the rest of your life. There are people who end up pursuing a very unlikely route while giving in to what they really want to achieve whenever they have time for it. The reason for such varies. For some, they want to pursue their passion only after they have gone through several failures.



To help you in this regard, here are some tips that you can follow.

1. You should look at things around you. Determine what or who inspire you to achieve whatever goals that you have in mind. They can be your loved ones or a specific person that encourages you to be better. These can also be things. What are the objects that create some sparks and enhance you to move forward? Use these objects and people in order to find out for yourself what you really want to happen. You can list down the things and people or places that may come to your mind when you are thinking about this so that you will keep track of what really matters to you.

2. Think about happy thoughts. Reminisce about the times when you were most happy in your life. What brought about such happiness? What made you happy? And while you are at it, you should also think about when was the last time when you experienced such moment. If it has already been a long time, what do you think caused such state?

3. You have to go back to the things that ignited your passion in the past. Read your favorite book. This may be a great time to find console digging through self-help books. This is especially true if you cannot talk to anyone close to you regarding the matter in ways that you hope to be understood.

4. If you are stuck in a job that you detest and your only reason why you are doing that is for money, then you will have a harder time in getting to know where your real passion lies. You may want to look back at the point before you entered this job. What were you back then or what were you thinking to achieve at that point? If you have already saved enough, you may want to consider quitting your current job. This way, you can allot more time in pursuing the things that you really want before it is already too late.

5. You have to be open to whatever possibilities life may bring. You need to expect more than what you already have for you to acquire such and reach a level beyond your comfort zone. This can be done by being bold enough to take a risk at a time. It doesn't matter how small or how big it is. Once you start following your heart and mind to reach to the point where you think you will be happy and satisfied, you are on the right track. And finding your passion will be easier in the long run.

Getting Rid of Fear

Fear is your enemy – no other way to describe it.  I’m not talking about that natural life preserving action along with a major boost of adrenalin that happens if a wild animal is coming at you.  I’m talking about the fears people live with day in and day out. 

Fear is your enemy.  Someone once described fear as, “Sand in the machinery of life.”  Fear doesn’t help you, it hinders you.  Fear doesn’t get you through an open door; it keeps you in the hallway. Fear never helps you put your best foot forward; it just keeps both of your feet in cement.

The psychology of today is, “Learn to live with your fears”, “Embrace your fears”, “It’s normal to have fears – everybody does.”  

It’s true; lots of people do have fears. And there are people who are trying to learn how to live with their fears, and embrace them.

But if it’s “normal” to have fears, then why would the Bible talk about being delivered from all your fears?


Think about it - if it’s normal to have fears, and you had no fears, then you would be abnormal, right? Well why would God want you to be abnormal?

He doesn’t.  He truly desires for you to be set free from all your fears.

There are many facets and aspects of fear.  One of the big ones is having fear of what others think of you.  People do things, say things, and even buy things because of the fear that they have of what others think.

Many times people join clubs or organizations because they are afraid that if they don’t, others might think badly of them.

People say things and talk a certain way because they are afraid that they might not say the right thing in front of the right people.

People purchase items because of fear not measuring up to those around them.  And on and on it goes.

You don’t have to live with fear.  Here are 3 simple keys to getting rid of fear. 


  1. First, start by realizing that God truly loves you and that His love for you is unconditional. The Bible teaches that nothing can separate you from His love. Nothing.  His love for you does not change, ever!
  2. Second, ask God to help you to get rid of all your fears.  He has promised to deliver you from all your fears.  That is His desire for you – a life without fear.
  3. Third, make decisions based on what is best for you, not how it may or may not appear to others.  You’ll never, ever be able to please everyone, so stop trying to.  You’ll never, ever be right in everybody’s eyes, so stop trying to.  

When you make a decision, ask yourself, “Why am I making this decision?  Is it based on fear?” Make decisions based on what is right and best for your life, regardless of what others think.

You can live without fear.

Tips to Better Your Brain Performance

It may be true that as you get older, your memory also deteriorates. But this does not mean that if you are younger, your brain is not capable of memory deterioration. Aging is just one cause of memory loss, but there are other factors. Thus, if you want to prevent this, you may want to read these tips to better your brain performance.


1) More Relaxation Period, Better Thinking

If you want to protect your recent memories, you should stay away from stress. 5 Ways To Maximize Your Personal Energy Supply

Different governments, officials, environmental agencies exhort us to conserve the energy we use in order to save the environment and sustain our continued existence on the planet.

On a personal level I think that we also need to know how to conserve, focus and maximize our own personal supply of energy. We unconsciously dissipate and waste our energy on people, situations, thoughts, attitudes and events which do not serve us well. This leaves less space and energy for creating and attracting the kind of abundance that we want in our lives.

Interestingly enough I've also found that as I conserve, focus and thereby maximize my energy, I tend to use less energy on craving and acquiring "stuff", but more energy focusing on what is truly important to me, thereby helping the environment.








So here are 5 Ways to Maximize Your Personal Energy Supply.

1. Release Resistance

Releasing resistance will affect a profound change in your level of energy and how you view the world. Resistance often feels as though we are going against ourselves in order to satisfy some internal authority or a myriad of "shoulds" "oughts" and "have tos". It takes a tremendous amount of energy to be resistant.

Related feelings and behaviour include: procrastination, using willpower and discipline to effect change (otherwise known as "I Have To Struggle To Achieve What I Want"!), stubborness, inflexibility, wanting to be right rather than happy (a very popular one:), holding onto self limiting beliefs way past their sell by date.

Releasing resistance can be as easy as just making a decision to let go of whatever you are holding onto. Energy therapy also helps release resistance at a very deep level.

2. Reduce time watching TV

Watching TV unconsciously is very exhausting. Haven't you noticed that when you watch TV continuously and do little else, you become extremely tired? That's because you are merely a passive recipient of information that you're not fully engaged with. On an energetic level, taking in all of those rays from the TV (similar to a computer) is overstimulating on a physiological level. Of course while you are watch TV, it means that you're not doing something more productive.

Am I saying that you stop watching TV altogether? No, but to be more selective and watch only those programs that you are engaged with. I'd also say that stop watching the TV news - all of that manufactured fear really affects you on a cellular level. I find that my mindset, moods and overall energy improve significantly when I watch less TV.

 3. Consciously create vacuums

Ever heard of the saying: "Nature abhors a vacuum". If you clean out an area of your life, you are giving the Universe a message to bring in something to replace it. This is otherwise known as energetic and/or physical clutter clearing. Start with either. Most people find it easier to start with clearing out the physical which has an effect on their energies. You are consciously creating the space for change to occur and inviting what you want into your life. This is much much easier than efforting to make things happen.

4. Avoid/deal with Energy Vampires

One of the quickest ways to get an energy boost is to disassociate yourself from those with those whose energy drains you. It is very effective. Unfortunately, it also becomes a little more difficult if they are your partner, member of your family, work colleagues or boss. It helps to develop a stronger set of boundaries and energetic protection, so that they are less likely to affect you in this way.

5. Create quiet time for yourself every day.

Not to do anything (unless it relaxes you), but just to clear and refresh your mind. We are human beings, not doings. There are times when our crowded schedule and minds don't allow space and time for the creative to be welcomed in. Einstein liked to go sailing in the afternoons after working in the morning. Okay, most of us don't have this opportunity, but you get the point.


If you only do one of the above, then your life will undergo a profound change.

Identify Your Life Purpose

How are you supposed to find your life purpose? 

Sometimes this does not mean your job that you do everyday, your responsibilities and your long-term goals.  This can mean the real reason that you are here and the very reason that you exist in life. 

If you believe that you do not have a purpose in life and that you are not looking for a meaning, you do not have to worry about identifying anything.  If you believe that you are looking for something to do in life then you need to work hard at getting your purpose and learning about what it means for you.  This is going to help you be a stronger and more achievable person with anything that you try to do. 

If you want to find the true purpose that you have in life then you need to let go of all the emptiness and false purposes that you hold in your life.  You need to discover what you have in your life and what is most important to you.  There are going to be so many ways that you can do this and all you really have to do is really look at who you are and where you see yourself in the future. 

Here are a few things that you should do when you are looking for a purpose in life.
  •      You should write down a list of what you believe you are here on earth to do.

  •       Make sure that you are answering your questions honestly and put what jumps into your headfirst.  It does not have to be complicated, just what you feel.

  •           Continue writing things that you want to do.  When you find the one that makes you emotional and gets your excited, you have found your true purpose in life.

It does not matter what you do in life.  To some it will make no sense at all and to others it will make perfect sense.  As long as you feel good in your decision and what you are doing, then you are following your heart.  This is what your purpose is and what makes most sense to you. You want to make sure that you are taking out all the clutter in your life.  You have to in order to understand what you are truly here to do.

If you are really trying to find your purpose and you are not sure how to make it happen, you might want to try some counseling. This can be the best way to get involved with what is going on in your life and getting all the facts in the open.  You might want to really analyze your life and determine if you are doing something that really makes you happy.

You may have the feeling of resistance at some point in your life.  However you want to go through your feelings and make sure that you are using excuses to get out of the work.  You need to push past it all and keep doing what you want to so that you can live a happier and more successful no matter what you are trying to do.

When it is your time to leave earth, you need to feel as if you accomplished something and your mind will be at ease.  This is what will make life worthwhile and give you great peace of mind.

Burn The Ships

One of the keys to reaching your goals is to eliminate any escape routes. It is tempting to retreat to safety and comfort when challenges and difficulties arise. To avoid turning around and abandoning your goals, you must make going forward more compelling then going back.


When striving towards a goal, you must focus on what you want to obtain and avoid the impulse to go back to what you know and to what is comfortable. When Spanish Conquistador Hernando Cortez landed in Mexico, one of his first orders to his men was to burn the ships. Cortez was committed to his mission and did not want to allow himself or his men the option of going back to Spain. By removing this option, Cortez and his men were forced to focus on how they could make the mission successful.



Eliminating an escape route creates a compelling reason to focus on the goal and to keep moving forward. However, it is important to keep in mind that although Cortez had his men burn the ships, he did not have them burn the food and supplies. Cutting off an escape route to increase motivation and create the desire to press on where you might otherwise give up is totally different from throwing caution to the wind and taking undue risks. Reaching your goals still requires prudent planning and managing. All goals contain a certain degree of risk, but it isn't necessary to create undue risk and stress by not properly planning and thus lacking the necessary tools and supplies to achieve your goal. Take risks, but don't be careless or foolish and simply hope that everything will be okay.


Before you decide to burn your ships, make sure you have the supplies and tools necessary to achieve the goal.
Something like quitting your job might sound like a good way to close the escape route, but it might also be a fast way to bankruptcy if you don't have resources to carry you through. Creating a savings account balance or having a journey job (a job that is a stepping stone to what you really want) allows you to take the risk of leaving your current job without creating undue risk. I once took a six-month leave of absence from a job while I was deciding if I wanted to move to a different state. Although it was difficult making the transition as I was very homesick, once I found a job in my new location, I resigned from the job I had waiting for me because I knew it would be too tempting to go back.



Close off the escape routes and make sure that you have a compelling reason to move forward.
However, at the same time, make sure that you plan for the risk and have the tools, supplies and resources you need to achieve your goals. You can't eliminate risk but you can plan for it. Don't just jump in without thinking through the process and having a solid plan for moving forward.

You Get What You Ask For

In life we get what we ask for...

Now you surely say that it isn’t true. You say you ask for freedom and happiness and all you got was feeling imprisoned and bad.

Let’s have a closer look to how creation works and how our subconscious mind works. Because it’s the same.

Everything that exists is created in someone’s mind. Everything starts with a thought. A thought is an energy. Energy wants to manifest itself. A lot of thoughts in the same direction will, that’s for sure, manifest in the real world.

This is the process of creation. We are created by the same process. We use this process of creation all the time, without knowing it.



When we are not conscious, then we are like most people and use this power to create a negative life. We have negative thoughts and get negative results. Once we learn how to think positive thoughts, we will get positive results in our life.

How come? Our subconscious mind is like the earth. It does not interfere with what we sow. Earth does not say :”Nja I have enough of these carottes, it’s every time the same thing, I will make potatoes of it!” Earth does not say : “Bah I don’t like red flowers, I will turn the red into blue for these roses!” Earth does not interfere. Earth is patient, works in silence and gives us exactly what we put in it. And we KNOW that! We know we will get exactly what we put in the earth. When we put yellow flowers in it, we don’t expect them to be red when they blossom. When we sow roses in the garden we don’t expect onions to come out in spring!
And yet that’s how we react in real life. We sow onions and expect roses. We sow negative thoughts in our mind (onions) and expect good things (roses) to come out! We fool ourselves! And we blame others. We look for who can possibly be the fault of that (usually we blame the parents or the husband/wife for what goes wrong in our life). And then we cry and say we don’t have any luck in our lives. We look at the neighbour and think he’s lucky because he has roses in his garden, and we wonder what we did to the world to deserve only onions in our garden!

When the mainstream of your thoughts is negative, let’s say for 85 %, than the outcome will be negative for 85%. Your thoughts fall into your subconscious mind, which executes exactly what you put in it. It is like the earth. It is like a computer. When you type in your computer : “I am stupid, I am fat, I am ugly, nobody loves me”, are you angry with your printer when the paper comes out that says “I am stupid, I am fat, I am ugly, nobody loves me”? Do you throw a shoe at your computer and do you yell at him that he is the fault of everything that’s going wrong? No, because you know you put that information in it and your computer does not interfere. The output matches exactly the input.

So works our subconscious mind. If you don’t like the output, change the input. You get exactly what you ask for = what you think of the whole day. Don’t be angry with your life. You are not angry with the onions, are you? You are not angry with your computer, are you? Instead of being angry, learn how it works and learn to get positive results in your life. Start thinking positive thoughts. Think only thoughts you wish to see happen in real life. Think only what you want to become true. And wait for a while, be patient. One day you will harvest what you sew, like you know earth will give you back what you put in it. It is never lost. Just wait and see.

Personal Mastery Principles

There are people who fully understand how important it is to develop their skill and know their strengths and weaknesses to be able to deal with their growth and development. 

Those who have known and developed personal mastery would be able to listen to themselves and maintain balance in their life. 

Personal mastery would also enable people to manage their energy levels and minimize dependence with stimulants to increase their energy levels.  To attain personal mastery, there are principles that would be the guide of a person in a quest for growth and maturity.  

Principles behind personal and self mastery are actually fundamental concepts that are essential when building professional, social and spiritual relationships.  The first one is how success is defined.  In personal mastery, the internal change is actually more important than what had happened to you.  

Personal mastery is also based on reality.  It is important for the follower to spend time and energy in things that can be controlled, like the present and the future.  It is important to let go of reactive attitude like resentment, complaint, blame and just wishful thinking.  

Another principle behind self mastery is understanding that what happens to your life is based on your own choices and not from anybody else.  We should take responsibility for what had happened in our life. Therefore, decisions about our lives should be made by our own will.  We have to know the weaknesses and strengths of our character.  This would enable us to change how we think, feel and behave. 

Having a clear vision of what we want and what we should do to achieve it are also principles behind personal mastery.  After identifying our goals and how we can attain our goals, then it is about time to translate them into action.  This would be the application of our vision, values and principles that we chose to follow. 

These key principles would help the followers:
• How to deal with difficult and challenging situations.
• Isolate positive behaviours and feelings and work on them.
• Accept difficult and harsh realities of life.
• Understand the importance and freedom that comes with responsibility.
• Identify your principles in life.
• Prioritize what is more important to you.
• Deepen your commitment
• Develop self-confidence and self-esteem
• Accept imperfection and build on one’s strength. 
• Feel the connection between oneself to others.
• Develop an inquisitive mind
• Adapt and work with change

Overall, an individual who have attained personal mastery would be able to raise self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-responsibility.  What it great about personal mastery is that individuals would recognize that they are part of a system.  They know that they would be able to contribute and influence through their creative ideas although they would also be conscious that controlling the situation or the system is impossible. 

Personal mastery is something that does not happen as an accident not overnight.  It would require discipline and reinforcements.  Those who are in the path or personal mastery would oftentimes attend trainings, seminars, coaching and counselling to make sure that what they have learned in personal mastery is not at lost again in the midst of selfishness and materialism.  

Personal mastery helps everybody understand that life is full of opportunities for expanding our vision and skills, until later on we succeed.

To affirm means to declare what is already present.  It is the same with creating and using affirmations to attract or to transform the things which we desire. 

When you create an affirmation you are declaring to yourself and the universe that the desire is already created.  As you continue to repeat these affirmations you are also holding your thoughts clearing with intense focus on the creation that you have made.

Affirmations serve many purposes when trying to manifest the things you want.  Applying the law of attraction can be hard when you try diligently to maintain positive uplifting thoughts.  It’s almost impossible to monitor your thoughts twenty four hours a day but when you create clear affirmations with details they become a great tool in controlling your thoughts and in turn influencing the law of attraction in your favor.

Here are three ways to use affirmations with your law of attraction practice to get great results.

1. The first step to using the affirmations is to become very clear about what you want.  In order to become clear you would need to write out all the details that you would like to see and experience in the thing that you want.  The clearer you are about your intentions the more power you give to your affirmations.

2. Write a clear positive affirmation in the first person stating your desire as if it is already complete.  Never make statements such as, “ I wish I could be… or someday I can have or I don’t want to do…” 

These three statements are the most ineffective statements when creating your affirmations.  The affirmation must be created with power and faith in order to fully shift the law of attraction in your favor.  You must absolutely omit any words that tie you to the thing which you do not want.  If you want to stop thinking in a negative way, it is best to state, “ I now think and feel in the most positive way.  I thoughts are happy and positive every moment of the day.”

3. Move into the affirmation with feeling.  Feeling adds the power to your desires.  Feelings generate an internal energy that allows your whole being to absorb your statement.

Many people find it a bit hard to really create success with their affirmations and that is as a result of stuck emotional energetic patterns that are difficult to change.  There are many incredible techniques that can shift those affirmations quite deeply that they make the attraction process even easier and more effective without the mindless repetition.

Changing Habits That Are Deeply Ingrained in the Subconscious

Ever trying changing a habit so desperately only to find out that something deep within is not willing?

You have gone to counselors, the psychologists, spent money on self books and running to every sort of seminar that includes the self help stuff only to find yourself at the same position you were in before? It is said that it is at this moment when the subconscious and the conscious are at logger heads and in most cases the subconscious wins.

Our habits drive our lives, that is why it is important to bring the bad habits into our conscious awareness and replace them with the obstruct ones to be able to move forward. If you are not yet where you want to be or if you have not yet achieved what you have always desired for a long time then you ought to really examine your approaches to life.

The One and Only Secert to Success

A young man asked Socrates the secret to success.

Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him to the river. When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water.

The boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue. Socrates pulled his head out of the water and the first thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep breath of air.
